HIGHWAYS engineers are swapping their overalls for football kits to raise money for a charity helping people whose children suffer from a rare genetic illness.
Workers at Ringway are playing at Cookley Playing Fields, in Lea Lane, on Saturday at 2pm, to boost the Max Appeal.
John Howles, who works at the highways depot near Kidderminster, has organised the event. The charity supports parents whose children are diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome and related conditions. For further information log on to www.maxappeal.org.uk
