SCOUTS have raised £3,425 packing bags for generous supermarket shoppers.
Kidderminster and District Scout group's members were in the Sainsbury's and Morrisons stores for Easter, between March 19 and March 22.
The money was collected by more than 200 members from eight Scout groups, the Kidderminster North and South Explorer units and Kidderminster Scout Fellowship and will go towards paying for activities during the year.
Mark Searl, district bag packing co-ordinator, thanked the public for their "generous support" and "kind comments" and supermarket staff for hosting the bag-packing youngsters.
