A MAN had his bike snatched as he cycled in Kidderminster.
The victim, in his late 20s, was cycling on the pavement along Park Butts ringway, from the direction of Crossley Retail Park towards Kidderminster Hospital, when it happened.
He was at the bottom of the steps near Park Lane when he was approached by a man who he did not know, who challenged him, saying the bike belonged to him, and rode off on it.
It happened at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
The bike is described as made of polished aluminium and worth £650.
The offender is described as white, aged about 21, of muscular build, 5ft 11ins tall and clean shaven with short cropped fair hair.
He was wearing a blue or black-coloured baseball cap, a dark blue Nike tracksuit with a zip-up top, a dark beige t-shirt and black trainers with velcro and white marks on the toes.
Witnesses or anyone with information, including any passers-by who might have seen the incident, are asked to contact PC Joanne Woodward at Kidderminster police on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
