A 16-year-old "HOOLIGAN" who got drunk during a Kidderminster Harriers football match has been banned from attending any more games for three years.
The youth, of Kidderminster, was drunk and arrested for a public order offence while attending the Harriers tie with Rushden and Diamonds match, on March 24 - Bank Holiday Monday.
The order bans him from attending any regulated football match in England and Wales, entering Kidderminster town centre or the approaches to Aggborough Stadium on match days, and from going to any town, city or locality where Harriers are playing away matches.
The ban was handed down by town magistrates, yesterday.
Insp Paul Crowley of Kidderminster Police said: "This result illustrates West Mercia Constabulary's commitment to bringing football hooligans to justice.
"We work very closely with Kidderminster Harriers who have a proud reputation as a friendly, family-orientated club.
"Offences of violence and disorder associated with football will not be tolerated anywhere in Kidderminster."
