LEAD has been stolen from the roof of a school.
The theft, at Wolverley High School, Blakeshall Lane, was reported on Tuesday morning and could have happened last weekend.
Officers want to hear from anyone who might have seen the thieves or has information about metal theft in the area.
In a separate incident, a number of metal drain covers were stolen from drives in Rifle Range Road, Kidderminster, earlier this week, with the thefts reported on Tuesday afternoon.
West Mercia Constabulary launched Project Livewire last summer to tackle the growing trend of metal theft across the region.
More than 80 arrests have been made and several loads of metal recovered since the start of the campaign.
Police are carrying out stop checks and visiting scrapyards to check their records as part of the initiative.
