Next week, Kidderminster College will be holding a series of free adult taster sessions as part of National Adult Learners' Week.
Now in its 17th year, Adult Learners' Week is a celebration of the energy and inspiration that adults bring to their learning. It seeks to use the achievements of learners to inspire others to have to go - whether it be learning a new skill, learning for fun, or catching up on learning missed at school.
During the week of the 19th - 23rd May, the college will be inviting adults to take part in something new and to try out one of the special sessions they are offering - what's more it won't cost a penny!
Sessions include: Tuesday 20th May - Dancersise A fun taster dance class suitable for all abilities influenced by Latin, salsa and freestyle disco moves!
Wednesday 21st May - Art Discover your creative side with this art for beginners' session.
Thursday 22nd May - Discover Felt Making for Beginners Find out about an interesting craft using traditional techniques.
Friday 23rd May - Cookery Learn to cook up a feast fit for a king!
Whether you want to gain new skills or qualifications to get a promotion at work, want to learn more about a subject you're interested in, or just want to take up a new hobby then adult learning could be the ideal solution.
For more information on any of the above sessions and to book your free place please contact Kidderminster College Student Services on 01562 512006.
