POLICE have launched an appeal after charity boxes were stolen from two Wolverley business on the weekend.
Smithy Tea Rooms & Fat Eddies Smoke House, located on the grounds of The Lock pub, were broken into sometime between 11pm on Saturday (October 22) and 9am Sunday morning (October 23).
In a post on the West Mercia Police Neighbourhood Matters website, PCSO Kate Easthope confirmed that stock and charity boxes were stolen from the businesses.
Officers are urging those with information they believe may be in connection to the incident to contact them via the "Tell Us About" form at www.westmercia.police.uk.
The post added: "Remain vigilant around your area and report suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to the Police on 999
"Information can also be given anonymously to the Independent Charity, Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website www.crimestoppers-uk.org".
