KIDDERMINSTER Registration Office staff will be working from the county Coroner Court Office in Stourport over the Christmas and New Year period, whilst Wyre Forest House is closed.

The registration team will be available for appointments at Worcestershire Coroner’s Court, The Civic, Martins Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8UN on Wednesday 28, Thursday 29 and Friday 30 December.

The office will be open for appointments from 9am to 5pm.

Residents who are attending the court for registration appointments will need to use the Coroner’s Court entrance rather than the library entrance.

Normal opening hours, with the exception of Bank Holidays, and current out of hours arrangements, will be in place for all other Worcestershire registration offices over the festive period.

Councillor Marcus Hart, cabinet member for communities at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Our registration services in Kidderminster will move to the Coroner’s Court in Stourport whilst Wyre Forest House is closed. We apologise for any inconvenience this temporary relocation over the Christmas break causes but it is important that we are able to continue to offer registration services during the festive period.
