A PERFORMANCE of one of Shakespeare’s darkest tragedies will return to the Great Hall of Hartlebury Castle.
The castle will become the backdrop to Macbeth, in a performance by Quantum Theatre on Friday, January 27.
The tragedy of Macbeth transports an audience to the Scottish Highlands and tells the famous tale of vaulting ambition and its dreadful consequences.
Shakespeare’s iconic work tells the story of Macbeth, who meets three witches upon the heath and hears their prophecies of his greatness. He becomes gripped by murderous thoughts of slaughter and descends into madness and destruction.
Tickets cost £12.50 for adults and £8.00 for children plus booking fees. Tickets are limited, so booking is essential. Full details and tickets can be found on the Hartlebury Castle website.
The performance will start at 7.30pm.
