HIGH Street clothing retailer M&Co which has a store in Stouport has announced the closure of all its stores.
M&Co, which also has stores in Bromsgrove and Pershore, announced on its website in December it had been put into administration.
Since then, it has continued to trade from its stores and website.
However, it has been announced that the retailer will now close all 170 of its stores later this year.

A statement that has been posted on Facebook to several stores across the country reads: “As we haven't received any funded, deliverable offers that would result in the transfer of the company's stores or staff to a potential buyer, this means that all of our stores will close.

“The M&Co 'Brand' has been purchased, but unfortunately this does not include a future for our stores, website, or staff.
“We will trade potentially as long as possible and then begin the close down process.”
The clothing store has urged customers to use any gift cards as soon as possible as they will only be accepted until Sunday, February 12.
