A PLAN to demolish a former Kidderminster care home to make way for new homes will go before the council’s planning committee.
A planning application to build 18 new homes at the site of the Grange care home and 164 Sutton Park Road was lodged by Cameron Homes in October 2022.
The plan will go before Wyre Forest District Council’s planning committee at a meeting on Tuesday evening (February 14).

Development director Steve Cassie from Cameron Homes said: “We are pleased that our planning application is being considered at committee this week.
“We have worked positively with officers and statutory consultees to ensure that the scheme which is going to be presented to councillors is free from objections, and look forward to a positive outcome and bringing the site forward for development starting later in the Spring”.
