A PLAN has been put forward to convert the site of an old Cookley pub, which has most recently been a village shop.
A planning application has been submitted to transform the Red Lion on Castle Road into two houses.
The existing building would be converted and extended to create the two homes - which would both have four bedrooms.
The application, which was submitted to Wyre Forest District Council this week, will now be considered.
People can view the application by searching 23/0103/FUL on the district council's planning site.
