A HAIR salon in Blakedown has reached the finals of the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.

Stacey Mcknight Hairdressing has been shortlisted in the prestigious 'Hair Salon of the Year' category and will find out if they will be crowned winners at a black-tie award ceremony on Sunday, March 26 at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham.

Voted for by the public, the awards seek to recognise and commend the efforts of those working in the hair and beauty industry.

Salon owner, Stacey Mcknight said: "What an incredible start to the year for our salon. We're all so excited to be shortlisted for this sought-after award in our industry as we work around the clock to make sure every single person that comes through our doors leaves feeling and looking their best.

"I've worked really hard to create a beautiful and welcoming salon space that I'm proud to call home for my business and being shortlisted for this award among the best in the business is testament to that hard work.
