MUSIC legend Neville Staple of the seminal two-tone group the Specials is set to perform in Kidderminster.
Dr Neville Staple, known as ‘The Original Rude Boy’, will be taking to the stage at 45 Live on Oxford Street to play a career-spanning set on Friday, April 14
The award-winning singer says he plans to continue carrying The Specials’ two-tone flag, after the recent loss of his bandmate Terry Hall in December last year. Terry also co-fronted the Fun Boy Three with Neville and Lynval Golding.
Neville said: "Hundreds of fans have been in touch with really kind, heartfelt words, and also to say how pleased they are that I shall carry on performing all our hits and classics, to pay homage to our legacy.
Neville’s set consists of all the top 10 hits from The Specials and Fun Boy Three as well as a few of his personal favourites.
Tickets for the show cost £22 and are available via the 45 Live website.
