PHOTOS shared on social media show high River Severn levels in Bewdley after flood defences were put in place.
Barriers were put up along Severn Side in the town by the Environment Agency due to rising river levels caused by "rain and snow melt."

At 6pm on Thursday evening (March 16), the river level was recorded at 3.56m by the Environment Agency. It's predicted to peak this evening.
