A PLOT of land near Kidderminster Golf Club with planning permission for 15 new homes is going under the hammer.
The land off Chester Road South will have a guide price of £1 million to £1.25 million at the live-streamed Bond Wolfe auction on Thursday, March 30.
Colin Totney, land and development surveyor at Bond Wolfe, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the development of 15 new residential dwellings, together with an area of additional land.
“The property comprises a broadly rectangular shape parcel of land of about one acre or thereabouts with planning permission granted for five four-bedroomed houses, six three-bedroomed houses and four one-bedroomed apartments.
“Four of the dwellings are planned as affordable housing and, as well as the site benefiting from planning permission, an additional area of land adjacent to the railway line is to be included in the sale.
“The site is situated off Chester Road South in Kidderminster, in a popular residential locality close to Kidderminster Golf Club and about half a mile to the south east of Kidderminster town centre".
Planning permission for residential development, including all the associated access, parking and landscaping works, was granted by Wyre Forest District Council in November 2020.
Mr Totney added: “Interested parties must make their own enquiries of the local planning authority and independently satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the property for any use or development they propose.”
The Kidderminster land will be among 186 properties appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which is due to start at 9am on Thursday, March 30.
The auction will be live-streamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
