WORCESTERSHIRE Open Studios is set to return this year, as artists across the county prepare to throw open their doors to the public.
The free annual event, which showcases a range of mediums such as painting, sculpture, jewellery, and photography, is back from August 19 to 28.
Gillian Simpson, an organizer from Worcestershire Open Studios since 2018, said: “For artists and creators it’s an amazing platform to increase their exposure, meet buyers, gain feedback, build experience and encourages artists to look at how they can develop and sell their artwork.
“It isn’t just about what happens during the ten days though, we’ve seen lots of artists start conversations during Open Studios that lead to opportunities.”
Entries are open until April 23 for anyone who lives or has a studio in Worcestershire and this year organisers are encouraging younger artists to get involved.
