THE candidates for the upcoming local elections in Wyre Forest have been revealed.
Voters will be heading to the polls next month on Thursday, May 4.
There are more than two hundred and twenty candidates standing in the local elections.
All 33 seats are up for election on Wyre Forest District Council, which are being contested by a total of 99 candidates.
There are also contested elections for Bewdley Town Council and four of the six wards on Stourport Town Council.
All other parish council elections are uncontested and candidates for seats on those parish councils, including two wards in Stourport, will automatically be elected.
Kidderminster Town Council elections will take place in May 2024. The count will be held on Friday, May 5 with all results expected to be announced by early evening on that day.

People living in the district can still register to vote via the Wyre Forest District Council website. The deadline is midnight on Monday, April 17. Anyone without access to the internet can get a paper copy of the registration form from the Customer Service Centre at The Hub, Green Street, Kidderminster.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday May 4. Anyone voting in person will require photo ID to prove their identity, and this also applies to a proxy voting on behalf of another person.
