POLICE have warned that a road near Bewdley "may be closed for some time."
West Mercia Police have urged motorists to avoid Hoarstone Lane in Trimpley after a tree fell onto live power cables.

A spokesperson for the force said: "A tree about 40-50 foot in length has fallen onto live power cables.
"There is a possibility it could fall completely taking the cables with it.
"National Grid have been informed and we are waiting for Worcestershire County Council highways to arrive as the tree will need cutting before it can be removed.
"The road is shut and likely to remain so for some hours".
