BIKERS from across the country rode together in honour of a late Stourport motorcycle shop owner.
The funeral of Alec Dorrell, who ran Alec Dorrell Motorcycles, was held on Thursday (April 6).
Bikers set out from Vale Road and followed the hearse through Stourport on its way to Wyre Forest Crematorium.
Mr Dorrell’s son Steve said he felt a sense of "pride" on the day, with bikers remembering his father as a “true legend.” He estimated that a couple of hundred came to pay their respects.
He said: "It was a celebration of his life. People came from all over the country."
Affectionately known as Acker, Mr Dorrell owned his beloved shop from 1974 until May last year, after having a passion for motorcycles since he was a child.

Steve said his father’s shop had become a "meeting place and a social hub for biking enthusiasts from all over the Midlands and beyond".
