POLICE were alerted to reports of sheep loose on the busy A449 near Kidderminster this morning (Monday April 24).
PCSO Kate Easthope of the Kidderminster East and North Safer Neighbourhood Team highlighted the incident in a neighbourhood alert – urging motorists to keep an eye out for loose livestock while travelling along Wolverhampton Road.
She said: “We have had numerous reports of sheep loose between Caunsall and Island Pool public house.”
PCSO Easthope added that police had been trying to locate the owner of the sheep.
