RESIDENTS across the district came together to celebrate St George's Day in Kidderminster on Sunday (April 23).
Representatives from the Squirrels, Beavers, Rainbows, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Ranger groups all took part in the annual parade through the town.
A special St George's Day service was held at Aggborough Stadium.
In a post on Facebook, Kidderminster Town Council said: "The mayor and mayoress were delighted to attend and be part of the Wyre Forest District Scouting and Guiding St George's Day celebrations on Sunday.
"The service at Aggborough Stadium and parade through the town really made for a fantastic occasion".
District and County councillor Tracey Onslow hailed the event as a success.
She said: "Manoeuvring so many adults and children through the roads safely takes some organising and it went without a hitch, so very well done to all the organisers".
