LEGENDARY folk rock band Lindisfarne is the first act announced for this year's Bewdley Festival 2023.
The Northeastern group have a long list of hits which they will be featuring in a classic five-piece lineup of long-time members, fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar.
Lindisfarne will be playing iconic songs such as ‘Run for Home,’ Lady Eleanor,’ ‘Fog on the Tyne’ and ‘Meet Me on the Corner’ and are appearing as part of their nationwide tour.
They’ll be playing at the Treetops Pavillion at West Midland Safari Park on October 8 at 8pm – with tickets now on sale at www.bewdleyfestival.org.uk for £27.
Other announcements of artists for the festival, which runs from October 6 to 14, are expected to be announced shortly.
