A RANGE of patriotic events have been lined up for residents across Wyre Forest in celebration of the King's Coronation.
There will be park parties, big lunches and places to watch the Coronation with family and friends on the weekend.
In Kidderminster, there will be two days of celebration at Brinton Park. A 'Big Lunch' will be held on Sunday, May 7 from midday, featuring food, refreshments, stalls, bouncy castles and live music.
A 'Big Help Out' event will also be held on Monday, May 8, from 11am, featuring a variety of stalls with information on local charities and organisations.
There will be a free Coronation picnic and family fun day at Springfield Park on Monday, from 11am. The day will feature children’s games and activities and live music. People are invited to bring their own picnic.
In Bewdley, a family fun day will be held at Riverside North Park on Sunday, from 11am. A Coronation picnic will also be held at Bewdley Museum's Green Theatre, Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens, from 1pm to 3pm, which will feature live music.
There's also a Bewdley Concert Band show at the museum the following day from 1.30pm.
In Stourport, there will be an Indoor Family Street Party held at The Civic from 10am on Coronation Day.
A coronation lunch on the day will cost £10 for adults and £5 for under 5’s. There will also be entertainment for adults and children, and competitions.
The coronation service will be streamed from 11am.
