SCHOOL children across Wyre Forest took part in celebrations to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.
Children at Little Trinity Nursery and students at Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre in Kidderminster enjoyed lots of coronation fun and food on Friday, May 5.
Little Trinity Nursery pupils made their own flags and enjoyed a party, wearing their very own creative crowns.
They also listened to a selection of Coronation stories and crafted celebration cards for King Charles which will be packed up and sent to Buckingham Palace.
Holy Trinity Sixth Form students held a sweet and cake sale for primary and secondary students as well as provided drinks and lots of games for children during morning break, with the normal lunchtime menu suspended and replaced with a street party including sandwiches, party food, cakes and BBQ foods.
Youngsters at St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School in Stourport dressed in red, white and blue and posed for a whole school photo after taking part in a host of activities, including crown making, a scavenger hunt, games and a special coronation-themed lunch.
Hartlebury CE Primary School hosted a coronation party in the playground for the children, who also made their own crowns and staged their own royal variety performance.
