A CARE home in Kidderminster is inviting the local community to rock ‘n’ roll into the summer season.
On Saturday, June 17, from 11am to 2pm, the team at Care UK’s Brook Court, on Oldnall Road, is opening the doors to welcome the people of Kidderminster to their summer festival.
Guests will be invited dance the afternoon away to live music.
Visitors will also be treated to a barbecue buffet, including hot dogs and burgers, specially prepared by the home’s talented head chef. There will also be a tombola, where visitors can try their luck to win a host of prizes.
Shirley Gibbs, Home Manager at Brook Court, said: “Maintaining strong relationships with the community is an important part of life at Brook Court, and hosting our summer festival provides us with a wonderful opportunity to welcome the people of Kidderminster into our home.
“We are thrilled to be able to open our doors to the local community and celebrate summer together in style. Everyone is very excited to have friends, family and neighbours joining us for a good old-fashioned sing-along, and maybe a dance or two.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming local people for an afternoon of family fun – you won’t want to miss this.”
