BT is working to fix a landline service problem in the Kidderminster area.
Issues with landline telephone connections were raised earlier this afternoon (Thursday, June 15).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has alerted residents to the issues.
We have received notification from BT that there is a loss of dialling out from landlines in #Kidderminster Area this includes dialling 999- number range affected 01562. Use mobile phones to call 999 in an emergency they should still be working . Resolution expected at 19:13

In a tweet, Fire Control said: "We have received notification from BT that there is a loss of dialling out from landlines in Kidderminster Area this includes dialling 999- number range affected 01562.
"Use mobile phones to call 999 in an emergency they should still be working".
BT has apologised about the issue and said the problem is expected to be resolved by 7.13pm.
