READERS have been having their say on what shops they hope will someday open in Kidderminster.
The Shuttle asked readers which shops they would like to see in the town centre on Facebook.
An overwhelming majority said they would like to see a Primark open, with some suggesting the "perfect" location for it.
The discount clothing store has stores in Worcester, the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch and the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill.
Claire Kilgour said: "Primark where the old Debenhams was would be perfect."
Elena Klaipeda said: "Primark! The old Debenhams building is ideal place".
Derek Holloway said: "Would love to see a Primark in Kidderminster, give Matalan some competition".
Sarah Richardson said: "Primark would be amazing and bring so many more people into the town".
Another popular high-street shop that Kidderminster residents were in favour of is Home Bargains.
The popular discount chain has stores in Stourbridge, Bromsgrove and Droitwich.
Other suggestions from readers included Asda, Bonmarche, HMV, The Bodyshop, Lush, Hobby Craft and IKEA.
