FIREFIGHTERS were called to 'house fire' false alarms in Kidderminster and Cookley.
They were called to a report of a house fire with people inside on Canterbury Road at 2.09am this morning (Tuesday July 11) along with police and medics.
A crew from Wyre Forest fire station attended but the incident turned to be just fumes from cooking.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Control tweeted that "there was slight smoke-logging in the property.
“There were no casualties and the crew left the scene at 2.39am.
“The police and ambulance service were also in attendance.”
Firefighters, police and medics were also called to another false alarm 'house fire with persons reported' on Elm Close in Cookley on Monday (July 10) at 9.14pm.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said: "It turned out to be a false alarm with good intent caused by a controlled burning in a metal incinerator.
“Advice was given and a home fire safety check completed before the crew left the scene at 9.41pm.
“The police and ambulance service were also in attendance.”
