A STREET food event delighted residents in Stourport on the weekend.
Eat Street Repeat's Big BBQ was a hit with visitors to Riverside Meadows on Saturday (July 29).
The field was filled with a mix of more than 20 street food traders including cuisine from the Caribbean, Vietnam, India, and Greece.
The family-friendly event also featured live music, entertainment for children and bouncy castles.
Residents took to the We Love Stourport Past and Present Dat page on Facebook to voice their praise for the event
Paul Hornby said: "Good to see this sort of event being held on the meadows, wife and I enjoyed jerk & piri chicken followed by deep fried cookie dough and ice cream for afters."
"Was a lovely few hours spent down there, Bex Palmer said.
"Food was lovely and the atmosphere was great also."
Kate Marie described it as a "great" and "well-supported event"
She said: "Well done to the organisers. Lovely atmosphere."
Anthony Lythall said: "Was a good day with good friends."
Tim Lashford said: "Very chilled and enjoyable couple of hours. Hope it's on next year will stop longer."
Kirsten Webber said: "Fab event. Really enjoyed it."
Samantha Jones added that the food was "amazing."
