As the recent decision has been made for the 3 Tower Blocks on Hurcott Road, Horsefair to be demolished we takes a look back to their construction back in the 1960’s.
Windermere House, Derwent House and Coniston House were constructed back in 1963 and each has 12 stories and 44 dwellings.
The tower blocks made a huge difference to the skyline in the Horsefair and would have been a very modern addition to one of the oldest parts of Kidderminster.
