AN acclaimed rock and blues guitarist is set to rock Kidderminster's 45 Live.
South Australian Hall of Fame recording and touring artist Gwyn Ashton will bring his new show to the town on Friday (September 1).
Formerly with Virgin Records, Gwyn Ashton was once lead guitarist with Rory Gallagher’s group Band of Friends.
Ashton has played festivals or toured with Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Winter, Junior Wells, Rory Gallagher, BB King, Buddy Guy, Mick Taylor, Status Quo, The Yardbirds, Slade, The Troggs and many more, through over 30 countries.
He has recently released his 10th album 'Mojosoul' and is performing worldwide as a one-man swamp blues rock band, playing guitar, bass, drums, harmonica and singing.
He has recorded his previous albums with members of Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Robert Plant’s and Rory Gallagher’s bands.
Tickets for the Kidderminster show cost £11, plus a 50p booking fee, and are available via Skiddle.
