An event highlighting the services and groups available to those over 50 is returning to Wyre Forest this autumn.
The Over 50s’ Showcase, which offers free information and advice on healthy living, finances, benefits and local services, is being held by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with Age UK and Simply Limitless.
The event will take place over three events with the first stop being in Kidderminster on Thursday, September 28 at KDYT Hall on Bromsgrove Street and a second event being held in Stourport-on-Severn on Thursday, October 12 at The Civic Hall.
Cabinet member for housing, health and wellbeing Ian Hardiman said: “The Over 50s’ Showcase is a great opportunity for people in the local community to find out about what services and groups are available to them.
“Whether you want to meet new people, learn a new skill, or find a support group, there’s something for everyone’s needs.”
The first two events will run from 10am until 12pm with the third event being held in Bewdley at a location and date to be confirmed.
