LEGENDARY singer Robert Plant presented trophies and medals to runners competing in Cookley's historic 'Round The Wall' race.
The popular event, which has been running for more than 80 years, returned to the village on Sunday (September 24).
Karl Heeley, of Amazing Feet Running Club, was the fastest male in the 3.4-mile race, which covers the circumference of Cookley.
He also set a new record for the event, completing the run in just under 18 minutes.
Kay Nicholls was the fastest female in the race, Brian Courier was the fastest male veteran, and Sarah Price was the fastest female veteran.
Ed Southan, Mark Roelink, and Jonathon Packer, also from Amazing Feet Running Club, finished 2nd, 4th, and 5th place respectively.
Mr Roelink, who was the fastest male veteran in last year's race, said: "We were there to compete and improve our times.
"It was a bit slippery underfoot - we had a little bit of rain as well. It was well marshalled and well organised".
He praised Robert Plant, who lives locally, for supporting the annual event.
Mr Roelink added: "It's nice of him to donate his time to do things like that.
"It's always a treat - it makes it special.
"He's there to clap them home and present them with their well-deserved medals".
Sarah Price, who joined Slimming World in Kidderminster in 2016 and has since become an avid runner, said winning the fastest veteran female trophy was a "surprise."
The event raised more than £300 for the Wyre Forest Dial A Ride charity, whose buses were vandalised earlier this year.
