Fires crews rushed to the scene of a car “engulfed” in flames on a street in Kidderminster.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) from Wyre Forest Fire Station were called at 5am today (Wednesday, November 1) to a vehicle fire in Marlpool Place after reports of an explosion.
HWFRS said: “When crews arrived a small diesel car was fully engulfed in fire and was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel.
“A thermal imaging camera was also deployed to check for hot spots.”
No casualties were reported during the fire and the incident was marked for closure at 5.49am.
