SCHOOLCHILDREN across Wyre Forest paid homage to those who gave their lives in two world wars and more recent conflicts with Remembrance services and activities.
Nursery children at Wolverley Sebright Primary Academy and Stourport Primary Academy made poppies in paint and Duplo and Year 6 house and vice captains at Wilden All Saints Primary School led their remembrance church service.
Year 6 pupils at St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School, Areley Kings, were also called upon to lead their Remembrance service, which was followed by a procession around the running track and a wreath-laying ceremony at the school’s windmill.
Stourport High School paid tribute to their own war dead, listed on their war memorial boards and Hartlebury CE Primary School, Year 5 and 6 pupils read out the names of the village’s war dead during their Remembrance service at St James Church.
