A WOMAN who moved to Hartlebury to have a "quiet village life" has shared her shock after vandals smashed up her Range Rover.
Tracie Rolleston-Judd left her "stressful" city life in London and moved to the village three years ago and was recently given the all-clear for breast cancer.
The 55-year-old was left "dumbfounded" after her car was smashed up with what she believes was a "pick axe or baseball bat" on Monday night (December 11).
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque was targeted outside her home on Old Worcester Road, opposite the post office.
Mrs Rolleston-Judd said she and her husband heard three "almighty bangs" from outside her home. About half a minute later they found the car's windows had been smashed and the panel keyed.
The incident happened at around 7.20pm, and the 55-year-old said that two men in a "dark-coloured diesel car" were seen quickly leaving the scene.
Mrs Rolleston-Judd contacted West Mercia Police following the incident. A spokesperson for the force has said they are investigating the incident.
Speaking the following day, Mrs Rolleston-Judd told the Shuttle: "It's shocking. They have really done a job on it. It's just a mess. It was all over within 30 seconds.
"Today I'm really upset, but yesterday I was just shocked. It's not been pleasant.
"Whoever has done this is a real coward".
The incident has been shared on the Hartlebury Matters Facebook page to alert other residents of the village.
Mrs Rolleston-Judd added: "We only moved here three years ago. We moved up from London because we wanted a quiet village life.
"I don't know what's going on in Hartlebury at the moment".
