A Stourport recycling firm has achieved national recognition for its outstanding service to the industry.
Oil and waste business, Slicker Recycling, lifted the 'Supplier of the Year' trophy at the Servicesure Autocentre Awards 2023 during a ceremony in Warwickshire.
The company, which collects and re-refines more than 80 million litres of used lubricating oil annually, was chosen ahead of a long list of approved partners for its successful six-year-long association with UK independent garages.
National sales manager at Slicker Recycling, Sean Thorpe, said: "It's always a proud moment to win an award which recognises long-term success and commitment. We are truly grateful to be recognised by Servicesure's members."
Throughout the garage partnership, the company has provided sustainable solutions to meet the waste management needs of Servicesure members helping to save up to 100,000kg of carbon emissions every year.
They also help by reducing their waste management spending.
Mr Thorpe added: "The award is a terrific milestone and I'd like to thank those from Servicesure and the wider industry who have taken the time to send us their best wishes and congratulations."
The award was collected by Sophie Blackburn and Mike Parker from the company's New Business team at the ceremony held in Coventry's historic Coombe Abbey.
The trophy was presented by GSF Group's Head of Garage Programmes, Paul Dineen, and Eastenders actor Shaun Williamson.
