STOURPORT'S historic Bridge Inn has gotten a fresh new look after a £400,000 revamp.
The pub, which dates back to 1790, closed in October ahead of the revamp and reopened on Friday, December 15, in time for the festive period.
Star Pubs & Bars Ltd, Heineken’s pub business, and local operators McLoughlin Leisure Ltd, were behind the upgrade and six new jobs have been created on the back of the investment.
The inside of the pub has been redecorated to create a "more modern look and feel whilst retaining its classic character."
The exterior of the pub has also been given a makeover and food has been reintroduced at the pub.
Commenting on the pub's transformation, landlord Alex McLoughlin, aged 35, said: "It's exceeded my expectations. It looks fantastic.
"We're glad to be back open".
