A store in Kidderminster has helped deliver hundreds of gifts to the local community this Christmas.
Dunelm and its customers donated more than 320 presents to various community groups, animal charities and care homes, including The Wharf, this week as part of the 'Delivering Joy' campaign.
Residents and staff came together to support those who need extra help over the festive period by fulfilling gift tag requests for those who might otherwise go without a present this year.
Store manager at Dunelm in Kidderminster, Rachel Garey, said: "We are immensely proud of the efforts for this year's 'Delivering Joy' campaign.
"The ongoing support from the local community has exceeded our expectations and we are so pleased this year's efforts will help to create a brighter holiday season for so many.
"I would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers and local community who have kindly donated gifts especially during these challenging times. Your Generosity is truly inspiring."
In recent years the campaign has seen the number of donated gifts soar from 20,000 in 2021 to more than 60,000 in 2022.
Many of the requests this year have been for simple and heartwarming items including underwear, teddies and hair bobbles as well as winter essentials such as hats, scarves and socks.
Home manager at The Wharf Care Home, Heather Young, said: "We are extremely grateful to our incredible local community and to Dunelm who have turned our Christmas wishes into reality this year.
"Thank you for making Christmas special for our residents who live with us at The Wharf."
