A pub in Kidderminster has been crowned a 'rising star' at a prestigious ceremony celebrating its hard work and dedication to the community.
The Queen's Head in Wolverley picked up the prize during Marston's Pub of the Year event which is designed to recognise Marston's tenants throughout the UK.
The village establishment was honoured in the category celebrating new pub partnerships with the team being praised for their customer service and success despite the challenging climate for the hospitality industry.
Marston's Operations Director, Matt Whiting, said: "In their first 12 months at The Queen's Head, the team have taken the time to really listen to their guests and build a proposition that goes from strength to strength.
"In such a short space of time, they have breathed new life into the pub and built a solid foundation on which the judges are sure they will continue to grow and thrive."
The Queen's Head hosts a beautiful front and rear garden that serves a range of ales, lager, wines and spirits.
There is also an extensive food menu seven days a week.
Landlord at The Queen's Head, Edward Link, said: "This award is a testament to all the hard work we have done over the last year, in a challenging climate, where winning over guests and keeping them coming back for more is harder than ever."
