A popular retailer has been forced to close after reports of a break-in on Christmas Day.
West Mercia Police said they were called to the burglary at WHSmith in Vicar Street, Kidderminster, during the early hours of Monday, December 25.
The WHSmith store and Post Office closed following the incident with the Post Office informing residents that they can still access its services in the Horsefair and Franche.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to report of a burglary at WHSmith on Kidderminster High Street in Worcestershire around 4am on Monday 25 December. Our enquiries are still ongoing."
WHSmith has been approached for a comment.
