A FESTIVE raffle at Wyre Forest Fellowship Club’s Christmas dinner bagged more than £100 to support Age UK’s Men in Sheds.
Club chairman Keith Ellwood and treasurer John Cadwallader presented the £105 cheque to Shed supervisor Ed Carswell at the Bromsgrove workshop.
Men in Sheds provides practical hobbies for older people to support their health and wellbeing.
Mr Ellwood said: “They are fully self-funding and their unit costs £1,000 per month so they need support.
“They get involved in some great projects, recent ones including making a book box for a village and a set of traffic lights for a primary school’s playground.”
Fellowship club members and guests raised the money during their Yuletide bash at Dominque’s Restaurant, Shatterford.
New members are welcome and for more details about the men’s club call Mr Ellwood on 07967 564708.
