A man has been charged following an assault at a pub in Kidderminster.
Jamie Worrall, aged 37, of Wensley Road, Barnsley, has been charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO), affray, assault by beating, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and criminal damage during an incident at the Loom and Shuttle pub on the Stourport Road on December 9, 2023.
He also faces a further charge of breaching a CBO on June 13, 2023 and is due to appear before Kidderminster Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday, February 14).
The charges follow a successful appeal from West Mercia Police to locate his whereabouts.
In a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, West Mercia Police said: "Earlier this month we issued an appeal to find a man wanted for a breach of a court order.
"Officers were also keen to speak to him about an assault in The Loom and Shuttle pub in Stourport Road in Kidderminster on 9 December last year.
"A 37-year-old man has now been arrested and is in police custody. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
