An investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was found in a lane in Worcestershire.
The woman's body was found on a country lane at around 8.30am.
A woman in her 50s was pronounced dead at the scene - on Kemerton Road, in Bredon, Worcestershire.
An investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.
Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher said, “Our investigation is in its early stages with enquiries on-going to establish the cause of death and circumstances surrounding the incident.
"People may see an increased police presence in the area as we carry out enquiries as part of the investigation.”
