THREE teenagers have been arrested and police have appealed for witnesses after an incident of disorder at Weaver’s Wharf last night (Sunday February 18).
Three males, aged 14, 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of public order offences following the incident and have been helping police with enquiries.
West Mercia Police, however, want to hear from anyone who was in the area near the fast-food restaurants between 5pm and 8.45pm.
Lisa Hornberger, Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Wyre Forest, said: “The public may witness a higher-than-normal police presence in the area over the coming days as we offer reassurance that this was an isolated incident.
“We would like to hear from anybody who may have witnessed anything between 5pm and 8.45pm last night to come forward and tell us what they know.”
Anyone with information that could help the police enquiry is asked to call 101 and ask for Kidderminster CID, quoting log 350i of February 18, or report it via the force website.
Alternatively, people can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or going online to https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ .
