POLICE have appealed for information after a transit van was stolen from Caunsall.

A white '15 plate transit van was taken from Orchard Grove in the early hours of Friday February 16 at 1.20am.

North Worcestershire PCSO Alice Owen-Jones said in a neighbourhood alert: “It has been reported that a vehicle was seen driving back and forth past the property moments before the theft occurred, it is believed an angle grinder or similar was used during the theft.”

She said the van has distinctive red and orange markings on the back doors and she added: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.”
