A power line has reportedly snapped in Hartlebury causing a major power cut across parts of the village.
Shortly after 7.30am today (Monday, March 4), the National Grid received reports of an electricity outage affecting residents in the DY11 7TA, DY11 7TR, DY11 7XB and DY11 7XD postcodes.
The electricity outage has reportedly been caused by a snapped power line which "sounded like a firework" going off.
There are currently around 51 properties affected according to the National Grid with engineers working hard to fix the problem.
Firefighters are now on the scene with the power expected to be restored by 1.30pm.
The team at National Grid are also regularly updating the website.
A spokesperson for National Grid said: "We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 7:35am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you."
