FOUR rising teenage stars have released their debut single.
Wyre Forest band retsecroW(s) is delivering Grief Of Me on all major music platforms.
Produced by Mark Viner Stuart at his M2 studios in Wolverhampton, the home of legendary rockers Magnum, the teenagers hope the track is set to make waves.
The band features the talents of 12-year-old Luca Griffin on vocals and guitar, Alexie Bayliss, 14, on bass and Ollie Kearns, 15, on lead guitar while George Nicholas, 14, keeps the thunderous rhythm alive.
The group's name is derived from the reversal of Worcester (with an s).
“Working with retsecroW(s) on Grief Of Me was a great experience,” said Mark.
“These young talents possess an innate energy and drive that’s infectious.
"It’s a privilege to help shape their sound and witness the birth of what I believe will be an exciting new generation of rock musicians.”
Luca, who attends Heathfield Knoll School in Wolverley along with George, said: “The release of Grief Of Me marks a big milestone for us as a band.
"This song is our journey and the energy we bring to the stage.
"We’re thrilled to finally share it with the world and we can’t wait to get back in the studio and keep the songs coming.”
Ollie goes to Haybridge High School, Hagley, and Alexie to Baxter College, Kidderminster.
The group, which played a successful gig at 45Live in Kidderminster last Sunday night, can be followed on social media.
