Residents have been given a first look at a brand-new store in Kidderminster after plans were submitted for shop signage and advertising.
The application, which was submitted to Wyre Forest District Council by B&M last week, has indicated what the exterior of the new store might look like on Weavers Wharf.
The grade II listed building will have a mix of vinyl, canvas and acrylic signage with advertising placed externally and internally.
The latest plans come as the discount retailer announced it will be closing its current shop in the Swan Centre next month to open the new store at the former Debenhams building at Slingfield Mill.
A spokesperson for B&M said: "The B&M Kidderminster store is moving from its current location at 1-6 St Georges Mall to its new home at Slingfield Mill. We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we bring you a bigger and better B&M store.
"The current B&M Kidderminster store will close on Saturday, May 24 and the brand-new B&M Kidderminster at Slingfield Mill is currently scheduled to open on Thursday, May 30."
The former Debenhams shop closed for good back in 2020 with LCP purchasing Weaver's Wharf last year with the aim of attracting good-quality brands to the retail park and boosting jobs.
B&M has also confirmed that the store in Spennells is set to remain open.
